Find Your Switch
A spring-loaded momentary switch like this, which is rated for 120 volts, is what you will need. A momentary switch only makes contact as long as you hold it down, and they usually don’t click. You could use an on/off switch, but you’d have to turn it back off every time, and the flash capacitor wouldn’t charge unless you did.
